Correctional imprisonment for three
(3) months to three (3) years, and fines
of fifty (50) to one thousand (1000)
minimum wages to:

Those who register or by any means
disseminate as their own a literary,
artistic or scientific work, artistic
interpretation or performance, phonographic
production or radio broadcast, in
whole or in part, attempting to
mask it through alterations or suppressions,
claiming for themselves or others
the authorization or proprietary
rights belonging to somebody else;

Those who modify, reproduce or
distribute a work in whole or in
part;

Those who distribute, reproduce
or transmit by any means works subject
to proprietary rights, after termination
of the assignment contract or the
license granted;

Anyone divulging an unpublished
work without prior authorization
therefor, or disseminating copyrighted
material after removing or altering
the name or pseudonym of the author
or interpreter, or after making
alterations or suppressions that
may threaten the work's decorum
or the author's reputation;

Anyone who manufactures, assembles,
imports, modifies, sells or otherwise
circulates any device, system or
equipment capable of avoiding or
deactivating another device intended
to prevent or restrict the copying,
interpreting, performing, producing
or broadcasting of the works, or
to lessen the quality of the copies
made; or capable of evading or deactivating
another device intended to prevent
or control the reception of programs
transmitted to the public via wired
or wireless telecommunications,
or in any other manner, by those
not authorized for such reception.

Anyone who in any way alters,
eliminates or eludes the devices
or technical media introduced in
the protected works, interpretations,
performances, productions or broadcastings,
so as to prevent or restrict the
reproduction or control thereof.
Fines from ten (10)
to fifty (50) minimum wages shall be
imposed on anyone who:
- Having authorization to publish
a work does so: without mentioning
the name of the author, translator,
adapter, compiler, or arranger,
as the case may be; or if he/she
includes the proprietor's name with
additions or deletions which may
affect the copyright owner's reputation;
if he/she publishes the work with
abbreviations, additions or deletions,
or with any other modification without
prior authorization; or if he/she
publishes several works separately,
when only authorized to publish
them together.
- Usurps, modifies or alters the
copyrighted title of a work.
- Is responsible for the non-payment
of royalties as appropriate, when
authorized to such ends.
- Omits the mandatory notices of
copyright established in the representation
agreement.
